                                                                    MEMORANDUM
The Marine Corps League Detachment 1280 Newsletter is your newsletter. To help the Detachment grow, we need your input. Please bring one or more Care Package item(s) to next meeting, and any names of Marines who may be recipients of packages. Think about who you want to serve as officers for Detachment 1280 for the 2008-09 year.

Bob Heintzelman and his wife Lov are still in the recovery mode. Lov returned to the hospital for a short time as she incurred a problem with some of her medicines. She is back home now and we wish her Godspeed in her recovery.

Bob’s surgery went well and they believe they were able to remove all the cancer.

Ron West has returned to full duty and we hope he won’t return to the sick list for a long time

Chuck Mangrum’s recovery from his fall is
still progressing and we hope to see him at our March 15 meeting.

John Young’s wife Joan is now at Emory Hospital. She has a very aggressive and rare type of cancer which is difficult to treat. She had returned home and they had plans to travel to New York, which is the info we had at our last meeting. She then had a relapse and was rushed back to the hospital.

Please keep all of these Marines and their families in your prayers.  Blessings to all.

                                         Ron West, Chaplain
